Hi, I'm Rob. i've been playing the Guitar now for about 1 month although I took some lessons when I was a kid I've decided to pick it up for good now and become as good as I posibly can. I'm taking lessons from a school trained musician and they are going pretty good, I'm getting sick of Down in the Valley types of songs and wanted to branch out and start learning some Rock guitar things. I'm still going to take the private lessons as the music theory, reading and writing part I feel will be invaluable in the long run. I'm planning on supplimenting those lessons with things I can learn here.

I've been practicing about 2 or more hours every day since I started taking the lessons and I can't imagine me not continuing on with the practice as I have been doing. I'm sure as I learn more and more I will want to play more and more.

Thanks for reading and I look forward to being here for a long while!

Welcome Rob....this site is great for learning what you want to know. If one leaves this place clueless, its not due to the great instructors or other guitarists in here. Everyone is helpful here.
