Jeah hi,
i was wondering, is there a way to download the backingtracks from the lessons?
I was practicing this Gilbertomania Pt1
http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/gilbertomania_-_gilberts_style_song_first_part/
And now i wanted to record myself playing to it
but i dont really know how to get that backing track into cubase.
Or do i have to "hold a mic on my computer-speakers", while the backing track plays and capture it this way?
BTW: AWESOME stuff you got here, i feel like a litte kid in a toy-store, wish i had more time

Hey man,
Unfortunately you can't download backing tracks currently. You can just ask to the instructor who made that lesson to send it to you. If the instructor is inactive you can ask our senior skennington

Thanks for the tip,
i send skennington a message, cause the instructor was last online in 2009, at least thats what his profile says.

I've found a way to extract the mp3 backing track from the flash-video-mp3 player.
i wont post the programm that can do this, because if it was wanted by the admins, that general download of the mp3s would be possible, they would have done it...
but on the other hand, we are encouraged to post vids/recs of our progress.
i dont wanna break any rules, since i'm only registered here for like 3 days or so^^
maybe an "authority" could comment on this, because for me it is veeery much easier to just make 2 lines in cubase. one with the backing track and one with my "attempt" at it

As for the moment, the way one are supposed to get the mp3s are by contacting either the appropriate instructor (if he is active) or Skennington by PM on the forum.

This is the way to do it currently!
Though, I heard a "rumor" about downloadable backing tracks being available in the future....

Then I'll do that in the future.

Or I'll just hope, that this "rumor" may be coming true

My sources (read voices in my head) tell me it will, pretty soon!

Bt's sent. For the time being or until bt's are available for download, feel free to contact me if the Instructor is no longer active or unresponsive and I will be more than happy to get any member what you need.
