Most people don't recognize him for his guitaristic abilities but besides being one of the greatest songwriter talents of the late 90's he could really handle an acoustic. I always liked his songs and appreciated what his lyrics and harmonies evoked in me. Sadly during 2000 he lost his live long battle with drugs and alcohol. After being more or less in a junkie’s hell until 2003 he came back clean. Then one night after a fight with his girlfriend he stabbed himself and died from the self inflicted wounds to the chest. RIP
