Bought this cheap thing for even cheaper (60 euros). Lets say you don't see right away that it's a really low budget instrument. Only if you come closer you see that it's a cheap instrument. The pickups are fixed with screws directly into the wood and some sponges behind the pickups adjust the height. Hmmm. Anyway, the neck is great. Playability is good after I set the action and: this thing sounds great. Very resonant and with a great bass foundation when the P- style pickup (split pickup in the neck position) is used. After adjusting the height of the J-style pickup in the bridge the two pups sound great when both are used together. Not as much snarl as an original P-sytle bass puts out but this cheap crap sounds really good.

The thing is definetly worth every penny. Many years ago, when I was still playing the bass, I had an original P-style bass and I think this cheap copy plays great compared to the original .

Here is a song with the new bass. Check it out
