I love Horrors, freaked me when i was young, but don't find them at all scary anymore. sad.gif
They have become almost comedy, and only a few good ones out there.

For the latest horrors, I wouldn't say they are scary but a good and amusing watch, suggest...

Tucker And Dale Vs Evil:

Insidious:

Hobo with a Shotgun:

Fright Night:

Piranha 3D:

Resident Evil - Afterlife:

A Nightmare on Elm St (2010):

Zombieland:

Daybreakers:

Quarantine 2:

Rec 2:

I love horror movies!
Hm, "Devil" is an awesome and intense movie.
"Mother's Day" is a tough one, doesn't make you pee your pants but it is really intense and disturbing.
Same goes for "Eden Lake", not for the faint hearted.
"Tucker and Dale vs. evil" is the funniest horror movie I have ever seen.
"Wasting away" is a funny zombie flick.
"Insidious" is awesome, especially the last 20 minutes are simply amazing.
The "[REC]" movies are scary (no, I don't mean our Rec-takes! laugh.gif ), "28 days later" and "28 weeks later" are pretty awesome as well.

Do you want me to go on?? tongue.gif

Christian

Haha Azza, we should meet for a video night laugh.gif

Yeah, sounds like we have the same tastes, almost forgot "28 days later" and "28 weeks later" are awesome zombie movies - my favs too. I like fast killer zombie rage virus over those slow boring brain dead zombies anyday!

I'd say what is the worst horror movie I've seen: Doom

based on the video game, OMG, what a waste!

They could have done something so cool, I hope they do it in the future

I dont believe they make scary movies anymore, they are so few and far between. The Descent (2005) was actually a fairly good one, instead of ditsy idiotic women like most horror movies have, the cast was all female and was not cheesy about it, pretty well done.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Tunnel_%282011_film%29

The Tunnel, is a found footage style film made specifically for torrents and peer sharing, so not only is it 100% free to watch in full quality, its legal too. Does a fair job at exciting with sound implied actions, conclusion was freaky and satisfying, I recommend it.

I have to first say I think I love scary/horror movies. You can ask The Uncreator, I watch some pretty off the wall movies not sure its horror at all. Kind of just lacking of moral movies with gore and death.

I have to +1 Insidious, I enjoyed it not sure about scary but a good movie overall. Forget Me Not was kind of cool and it had a twist.

As for Hobo With A Shotgun, I don't think that is horror at all, but I watched it on Netflix one day, the next day I went and bought it. Very good film and quite weird.

28 weeks (or days) later is a very good movie, it has some wild scenes, intense zombie run-for-your-life action smile.gif I recently watched The Grudge 1 again, and man, I don't have the nerves for that anymore, too many seat-jumper action smile.gif

You want something really crazy? Not your everyday scary movie? biggrin.gif

Watch "Funny Games", the German version.
It's surprising, sick and thrilling. Pure brilliance.

What year is the german version? I see there's one from 2007, but seems american.
Edit: no matter, seems I found it at imdb, from '97 smile.gif
