Awesome response! laugh.gif You are an expert on this! biggrin.gif

Burger King out of the two, but to be honest I`m not a great fan of either

KFC FTW!!! biggrin.gif

Eat at Burger King and about an hour later you'll feel like you have a serious case of cholera. And there has to be some addictive substance in McDonalds food, because even though I know its not good I still get cravings for it. Don't feed it to your kids, they'll be hooked for life tongue.gif

I also think that there must be a secret addictive substance... ph34r.gif

McDee's (aka McDonalds) Grand Angus (is the best burger by far out of the two), it doesn't even look like takeaways anymore.

http://mcdonalds.co.nz/angus-beef/grand-angus

A thick, tender patty of New Zealand Angus beef, with baby salad leaves, tomato, red onion garnish on soft sourdough.

Also this really fulls you up, 70% of your daily fat requirements! (A big mac is 50%) smile.gif

Burger King is just good for free fizzy soda refulls (the Whooper is gross), their smaller burgers or the Hawaiian BK Chicken burger (also almost 70% daily fat requirements) however taste better than McDee's (except for the Grand Angus). BurgerKing tastes even more sugary and fizzy over when I visited the US (I couldn't even get through the entire meal - it's a larger size to compared to here).

The fries from both of them are the most fattening, yum...

Stick with Burger Fuel, burgers almost the size of your head!

Belgium must be on the few country's without Burger Kings ... smile.gif

Posted by: Bogdan Radovic Jul 27 2011, 07:46 PM

I never tried burger king. When I was in Budapest I think I saw one but didn't want to "risk" it and just went to McDonalds.
I'm pretty much addicted to cheesburgers there smile.gif
Though every time I eat something there I feel like I'm gaining instant fat smile.gif))

I hate mcdonalds and i have never tried burger king so i cant really choose

Posted by: El Fortinero Jul 27 2011, 08:38 PM

How you dare to compare The great Mc Donalds???

Posted by: Cosmin Lupu Jul 27 2011, 11:26 PM

I don't eat junk food, so I can't compare them tongue.gif if I want burgers, I'll go over an american friend's house and he'll throw some on the BBQ for me and the band (he's the godfather of Aria's bass player biggrin.gif)

Having grown up here in the States, I can tell you that you literally can throw a rock and hit a fast food joint from just about any point in the Country smile.gif It's pervasive and part of the reason so many folks here are so BIIGGG. smile.gif I can appreciate a cheeseburger from just about anywhere but I would probably say that Wendy's would be my Fav. Wendy's is a chain we have that we have here that I don't think exist in Europe. They do a TRIPLE cheese burger that will stop your heart cold smile.gif

As far as the Mega chains, Wendy's does have the best burgers. But there are smaller chains out there that I think have even better burgers. One of them is called Five Guys, I'm sure you have them in Atlanta. Their burgers and fries that are so delicious they'll put you in a coma tongue.gif Its all natural and their fries are made from fresh potatoes that are cut on the spot and fried in peanut oil. Another good one is Steak n' Shake, supposedly their burgers are made out of cuts of steak. Don't know if its true but the meat itself tastes fantastic.

I think that it's just one... but awesome! smile.gif Many years ago we had "Pumper Nic" which was the argentinian equivalent to Mc Donalds, it was a big chain but it disappeared.

Check it at Wiki:

"Pumper Nic (or just Pumper) was a popular chain of fast-food restaurants in Argentina during the 1980s. It is currently considered by many Argentinians to be a cult classic. Its name is derived from the German pumpernickel, a type of bread.
It was founded by Tito Lowenstein in 1974, also an ex-owner of Quickfood, founder of the renowned Argentine beef hamburger supplier, "Paty", and the "Las LeƱas" tourist complex in Argentina.
Pumper Nic's name and logo was a based upon Burger King's, before the latter started operating in Argentina. When Burger King and McDonald's started business in Argentina, Pumper had to change its logo and started losing money, eventually going bankrupt. Pumper Nic became defunct in 1999.
The franchise had a mascot, a green hippo called "NIC"."

In Romania, we have a cult for Shaorma biggrin.gif

It is an oriental dish, which is regarded as fastfood in here and it honestly kicks burger butt biggrin.gif

I tend to go around it because it's not the healthiest meal, although it's not actually fastfood, but once in a while (2-3 times a year let's say) i like to go crazy on one of these biggrin.gif

That looks insane ! laugh.gif

I have no experience with Burger King that I can remember but I'm sure I remember thinking their burgers tasted burnt. McD's for me. We had one one after our last band practice.. not really a good idea after 10pm at night huh.gif

Posted by: zen Jul 28 2011, 09:48 AM

I try to stay away from both. Haven't visited any of em in years.

Posted by: snackajacks Jul 28 2011, 10:24 AM

I worked at mcdonalds in the netherlands, so I prefer burger king ^^,
well I have to agree with the fact that kfc is better but that depends on the restaurant, I once was at
a kfc in Koln, Germany to visit the musicstore when I went to kfc next to it it was dirty as hell,
so I will never go there again , but it really depends on the restaurant.

I've been to a big music store in Koln.. I wonder if it was the same one. There were 2 floors, with guitars on the second floor. They had a white Jackson Kelly Marty Friedman signature which they never let anyone try out but I asked them and they let me ! smile.gif

hmm, well, I think Mcd`s pride themselves on saying that no matter which Mcd`s you go in the food will taste exactly the same and I`d say that was pretty much true here in the UK, they all do taste the same.

we did actually venture into a Mcd`s in Spain whilst on holiday earlier this year and although they dont do milkshakes out there (wot!! why!! ohmy.gif ) the Big Mac I had certainly did taste the same, with equal amounts of nastyness in it laugh.gif

Hehe biggrin.gif, well, there is a McD in a city 40 minutes away from me, its just really bad, like the worst McD ever tongue.gif, everyone I know thinks it is bad tongue.gif, then there is another one in another city 40 minutes away, its way better xD, but still since its McD, its of course bad as always xD, but great if you have hangovers tongue.gif

I love shawarma, I wish it was more accessible where I live in the US sad.gif

Theres this burger joint in uptown called Nix that probably have the best burgers in Charlotte. The solitary burger joints are the places where you typically find the best burgers biggrin.gif

If I'm ever in Buenos Aires, I'll definitely check out that burger place you mentioned Gabriel wink.gif

Do you have shaorma over there? biggrin.gif how does it taste? You can't compare it to the one in here as you never had it, but i would be very curious!

Personally I prefer McDonald's for two reasons:

1) The relaxing friendly atmosphere

2) Burger King has been in the news recently, and it was pretty disturbing to say the least
