This is when things can get un-expected, for example I had a boss gt-1 1-2 years ago and as you can imagine its overall tone on first tests wasn't any better than "usable" but after playing with backing tracks it was surprising how easy it was to blend into the backing track.
Of-course all options should be able to blend but some are easier than others, and these often aren't the best sounding when compared solo.
Yes, I totally agree. I have seen at least one tonehub library that the author states that the presets have not being created with production in my mind. Just plug and play.
In my case, I just have tried them in "solo mode". It will be my main use. I need to improve in my tech side before thinking about producing any song or passage.
