About me

I started playing Guitar in march 2007 and my biggest influence then was people playing guitar covers on youtube, I really wanted to be able to do that to.

I bought a cheap guitar and started playing. I found GMC 26/7 the same year and started improving like never before and you can see where i am now 2 years after....

At the moment i have fell in love with Iced Earth and ecpeially Jon Scaffers rythm playing. I also like ands like Children of bodom, Arch Enemy, Wintersun, Blind Guaridan,

My favorite styles are Power metal and Death Metal

I would like to improve my rythm and lead playing and also learn to compose full songs(Guitar, drums, bass, keys)

Last 4 lessons i have worked on

These past two weeks i have mostly worked on Iced earth songs but i have also worked on

Emirs Ap etude in Am
Muris Alternate workout
Joes string skipping arp

well man, here we are. thanks again for singing up smile.gif

taking in mind da bands you like and your favorite styles and the fact you want to be able to compose full songs in this MTP we work on this way:

this is your
first assignment:

Time to complete: 6 days
Level: Intermediate

part 1
-control of rhythm guitar at different tempos.
learn this first assignment start at 100 bpm
increase to 120 bpm
increase to 140 bpm
increase to 160 bpm

part 2
-routine
once you feel comfortable with it apply the following:

start at 120 bpm (2 times)
at 140 (3 times)
at 160 (4 times)
rest or jam during 10 minutes and repeat the assignment 2 times more. remember to focus on your practice, concentrate and have fun during the process that´s better than 100 hour-practice

part 3
-adding "the band" (composition)
we can work together on this point.

add a drum line to the GP file
add a bass line to the GP file

REMEMBER: practice and rec your takes using metronome.

well man, that´s not bad at all! well done. the only thing I see is the fact you´re composing a drum line doing almost the same than the guitar. but it´s good to see you are able to write a drum line properly. so once you finish with this part, I´ll show you more options about how to compose a drum line that complement the guitar line.
