The "ring" keeps the input plug in space. Guess you have to open it up, put it in place and screw the nut and washer (if there was one) on.

Sounds like a problem I had once. I had my cable still in the amp and I wasn't playing through it, I stepped on the cable and it broke the ring off. ALl I can say is take it to a music shop or send it to get it repaired.

I think opening up the amp and tightening the screws and the input will work out the problem.

Well, theres a lot of different screws everywhere on the amp and i don't have a clue where to get started and where to stop to even get it off mellow.gif oh btw the amp is a Fender "Champion" 110...it's my uncles unsure.gif
I'm nervous to take it apart and i don't have the money to take it and get if fixed...actually i'm not quite sure how much it would even cost! *sigh* my guitar's bridge (e string) piece is broken, my whammy bar broke off into the guitar, my pedals are bad, and both of my cables are going old. I've had em for probably like 3-5 years and no telling how old the amp is. I guess i just have extremely bad luck.

Any Help/Comments?

DONT touch any capacitors..... even if the amp is unplugged they can store current and shock you.
usually if the amp sits for a few hours unplugged they are harmless.......but not always.
