Hey there muris,

I listened to youre orientel shred lesson, i like it very much ..

The technique you do at Sample Video 7 is a technique that been used very much on the saz, i already learned that biggrin.gif thats the technique that make the sound of eastern music .. going to learn the lesson .. !!

i have an old one too, you can have that one ?? because your a beginner you need to learn picking the strings first .. tongue.gif just kidding offcourse .. gehehe, ill record someday something of my dad, and ill post that on the forum oke ? with his custom build saz .. wink.gif

By "backward trills" in video 7 you mean those fast pull-offs + slides? I can't find anything else that could be! smile.gif

Ah by the way that Saz instrument is curious : at first I thought it was a saX but i consulted my Bible (wikipedia lol biggrin.gif) and found out it's a pretty cool instrument, we have some of them with 7 strings (2 coupled and 1 tripled!) or just 6 (3 coupled)... Just wondered how they were tuned and how big the interval is between the strings, because i couldn't find this! smile.gif

I don't have one at the moment and can't tell for sure of tuning,played it quite while ago...
Perhaps Ekrem might help as here?? smile.gif
