I think that the world needs bigger and distorted guitars so I don't think that this can be a bad thing.
I've heard many Post-Hardcore bands that found a more "mainstream" sound by getting nu metal influences. One of them is BMTH that started playing Metalcore, and their new albums sound like Linkin Park. This is the 'nu metal' that I miss. -------------------- My lessons

Who could for get POD! They took melody and core to spiff place. It was catchy and heavy without being as formula based as some core of the time.
