In "The Duskfall"´s song "Deliverance" 04:24 into the song the solo sound is like some kind of keyboard thingy. I´ve been told by someone that it´s not a synthmodul kind of thing.

How do you get that sound?

I`m sorry but I couldn´t find it on youtube. So you who are curious on listening will have to get it some other way since I can´t upload it smile.gif

Band: The Duskfall
Album: Frailty
Song: Deliverance (nr 10 on the album)

I found the solo on a homepage...

http://www.magnusolsson.com/mp3/10.mp3

Almost half in to that solo sample is where the sound I´m looking for is at.

Might be some synth sound involved as well
but technique is surely tapping,2 handed,
intervals are too huge to be played otherwise.

That doesn't really sound like a guitar, but if it is it's got the attack sound removed through some kind of low pass filter/compression, and as Muris said is probably played by tapping in some way.

Neck pickup, tapping, and I just had a random idea - it sounds like the volume or tone knob could be rolled back a bit to create that sound.

Give it a try biggrin.gif

It could be tapping, but also string skipping i guess. However, there's no attack on the notes so It sounds like it's edited unsure.gif huh.gif
