OK, here is a little recording with my new GT-10 as requested smile.gif I'm trying to get a Satch like sound, and I think this sounds kind of good, maybe not biggrin.gif This is the song Always with me, Always with you, and I recently just started learning the whole song so be gentle with me smile.gif that legato lick in the end is so damn hard biggrin.gif

Attached File  Satch_Style.mp3 ( 915.99K ) Number of downloads: 202

Hey, that was good smile.gif

Your tone was satch-ish, but i would recommend dropping the delay time, and trying to lower the gain, as if you listen to the song, satch has a very tight overdrive.

Yeah. Or just add a noise gate to get rid of some of that backround noise that doesnt need to be there.

but yeah, put the delay time at like.. 400-500 ms. with only one or two repeats.. just so nothing gets cluttered. That should be a good starting point of what you like in your sound.. and if you fancy.. even add a little chorus in there (I mean a little) It can make the sound a bit bigger, and sounds great for riffs and stuff imo. smile.gif..

Take it or leave it.. that's basically what I do for my sounds. smile.gif the GT-10 sounds great btw. smile.gif

BTW it might not even be a matter of dropping the amount of overdrive.. (Could be) But play around with the EQ alot to try and get a nice smooth sound..
