Whole gear was my custom guitar and Korg Pandora PX4D into audio card,just like always.
 And what Mark used for MFN? Probably LesPaul,some tube amp,pedal...and wah open in half I think(but you can play it without wah of course) -------------------- Youtube

Audio card is piece of your PC where you plug in your recoding gear,
a preamp,processor,mic or whatever.
