Well, a semi acoustic guitar is a type of electic guitar which have a sound box and electric pickups.

In terms of bending, there are several factors that will affect how easy is to do it. Since you want to bend easy there are 2 things I think you should consider:
- The less tension you have, the easier to bend. Lighter gauge strings help on that. On the other hand you have to bend more to achieve the same note. So you have to test a little bit before deciding what is your ideal - guitar with floating bridges (floyd rose) are easier to bend (because the bridge is not fixed and reduces the tension). However if you bend and then hit another note you will sound off (unless you learn how to compensate that, which takes some time to learn). I would say semi-acoustic guitars are kind of electric guitar, but with a hollow body so that it have a tone more close to acoustic guitars. Want to see a good use of it? most semi acoustics dont have the volume unplugged tat you can get from an acoustic unlugged. (Thats all i know from my experience)

semi acoustics are great for blues, basically an acoustic archtop with pickups and electronics on it, exactly like it sounds. there havent been as many different kinds of semi acoustics as solid bodies for the last few decades, but there are still millions out there. Get a nice one!
