Beginning and some other large portions of the songs are largely synth tracks, but it was something different and I had a ton of fun recording it. Basically, at this part in the story I am progressing, a man is having is nervous system and consciousness synchronized with a structure the size of the universe.

Enjoy smile.gif

Very cool fusion of metal and electronic elements, nice work mate! smile.gif The drums are a bit too natural sounding for this, possibly some more electronic samples could work nicely too.

Yeah I just dont have any, Was thinking about having a synty kick drum, mixture of snares, and normal snare, kind of like a hybrid kit.

Very cool and interesting smile.gif Is there a bass guitar in there? If not, maybe add one, if so, maybe turn it up a bit? There is one drum sound, maybe it's a china crash, that is a bit grating that could use a swap or maybe some fx. You can always pass the drums through some fx to make them sound more synthy and what not.

What are you using for drums? And for your DAW?

Todd

Drums are Steven Slate Drums, and Im using Reaper. Will try messing with the drums a bit more.

Secondly, I cant believe I did it, but I never even recorded bass, completely forgot about it. Feel like an idiot right now laugh.gif

I have STEVEN SLATE DRUMS as well and LOVE IT! It's not as well known it seems but it's just KILLER. The drums samples sound amazing and the presets are stellar.

If at all possible, get a copy of EZ Drummer and also, the DRUMS FROM HELL extension. The Midi packs that come with it include a great variety of drumming sections. So I"ll pick some midi loops inside EZdrummer, then change the sound generator on that track to STEVEN SLATE DRUMS as they sound better than EZ drummer or drums from hell.

Don't worry to much about not creating a bass line, it's easy for us guitar players to forget that part smile.gif I would like to hear it with one though if you make one.
