GMC Forum _ GMC site feedback & suggestions _ Song-study-tutoring?

Hey, this might be a cool idea for the future.
It's like this:

It's a bit like MTP, but just for real songs.
For example, these two weeks, it's Paul Gilberts Gilberto Concerto (just as example). There is one "teacher" (instructor/advanced member) and he picks (lottery style) 2/3/4 players who want to learn that piece. Instructor and member both learn from the same tab , and the instructor gives some insight on hard parts, and maybe some behind-the-tune-theory. The goal is, that not that advanced/muris-level players get to learn really cool and challeging songs. Maybe the instructor can post video's of the hard parts, and for example when using Guitar Pro, make the students post takes (audio or video) every 2 day's from example bar 1 - 20. And then the instructor can give some feedback. Harder song's require more time of course.

I think this would be cool for somewhere in the future!

This is definitely cool idea man! We would have to find a piece that everybody likes, but I think everybody can pick a piece they like, this can work too! smile.gif
