Hey Muris.

I have the impression that you know both techniques and sheet music very well, so I'll direct my question to you. smile.gif
Yesterday I sat and messed around with some 4-string sweeps, and without really thinking about what I was playing, I came up with a short 2-bar pattern. As the title indicates, it happened to be Aminor and Bdim arpeggios. So I tried to apply them to GuitarPro 5.2, just to get some training in writing down what I play: note values etc.
But there is something wrong with the arpeggio I think. It sounds, somewhat incomplete, and I simply can't figure it out. tongue.gif
So I figured you'd know exactly what's wrong. I'm struggling to understand sheet music better and would really like to know how to write it down myself. smile.gif

Ill give you both the midi file of it and the GP5 file.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Seagull.

As far as I can see, your licks are based on triplet feel which means
3 or 6(2 triplets) notes per beat.
Now you have to figure out your tempo and count it correctly,
to see are those 16th or 32th triplets.
But those are obviously triplets cause each arpeggio contains
6 notes ascending and descending.

Hope this helps a bit. smile.gif

I kind of understand, but then again I don't understand completely, and I still can't get the note values right. sad.gif
Could you perhaps demonstrate it in the GP5 tab?

Sure,take your time!

I cannot hear exactly what you have in mind from MIDI,
that's why I asked for audio/MP3,
it'll give me clear picture and will be easy to tab.

Also,don't bother yourself with tempo,
do it slowly if you wish but just keep your timing right and tight, that's all. smile.gif
