Beautiful guitar John and I have heard good things about them..BUT, I highly suggest you sit down with one. Your use to the ESP with a little bigger scale length and a 22 fret board has taken me a bit of getting use to.

It may also be a lot heavier than your current axe and the body style is designed more toward a Les Paul. Going from a strat body style guitar to a LP takes some getting use to. Trust me, I love this Agile that I have but I still find myself reaching for the Jackson.

For that kind of dough and a different style guitar, I would definitely feel it before I bought it. Just my opinion of course and good luck with whatever you decide to do bro!

Later,
steve

You might miss those last two frets. I know I did when I went from a 24 to a 22 fret neck. Why not the ESP EC1000....I think that's what it is. smile.gif

What don't you like about the floyd? If you don't use it that's cool. I didn't use the tremolo for the first 15 years I played. I HAVE to have one now. tongue.gif I have a ZR trem though....way easier to maintain than a floyd....much more stable too, at least IMO!!

Ask them to let you sit with it for an hour or so and make a good decision based on how it feels to you. Also, what model MH do you have, 400? I know the 1000's have all that lavish binding..You going to sell it?

Or.....and probably more important......Justin Timberlake's dance moves and looks. I know you got the looks....I'd need to see a vid to evaluate the dance moves. Maybe you could post one in your MTP thread!!! I'm sure Jeff would be happy to evaluate as well tongue.gif laugh.gif

I`ve tried couple of the hardtails in a local store. Don`t remember if it was a Usa model, but is was quite expensive at least.

I think that the hardtails are some of Dean`s more nice looking guitars, and it is truly lovely to play at. You can achieve some great tones with it with the right amp/effects. Also that finish was quite uniqe..KILLER! biggrin.gif

And I`ve just changed from 24 to 22 frets as well. Cant say I miss them and particularly yet smile.gif

This one looks great! The carving and the flame top pretty much resemble the PRS Custom 22/24. Even the inlays are similar to the abalone birds found on the PRS.

I would definitely try one if I had the chance...
