Interesting, I guess we all have favourite guitars that inspire us the most, or at least I want to believe that, that's why I'm getting a new axe soon

I would agree that every guitar wakes up something different in a songwriter. If I am playing my acoustic guitar I always have ideas for ballads. When I take my Hamer, I can't think of anything else than rock. It does make sense what Charlie said. He is an awesome drummer too.

Yep. It's true that each axe leads to different ideas. Though I am more experienced on acoustic guitar, so that's what comes out the easiest (ballads, pop or folk rock)

It's true though.. When I play my acoustic I always play and write pop songs, and my Gibson tends to rock and roll while my ESP plays the riffin' griffin
