I want to share these as kind of an open 'journal'. So these clips represent where I am now. As I progress I'll add new and improved pieces.

The Fifth Angel - What's interesting is I never intended to actually make a song here. It was an experiment learning to use my DAW. I had a whole bunch of stuff which I threw together trying to learn how to use tracks and volume levels and loops, fades and so on - and it turned into this. I think the overall concept has merit but when I'm ready I will rewrite it so it has more structure and direction, and a lot more musical theory accuracy!. But it's just fun to listen to. http://soundclick.com/share?songid=6898225

Tears over the ocean - it is what it is, a tune over a chord progression. I think I will redo this one in the future. I like it and I think it has a lot of potential to become something very nice and moving.

Tidal Pools - Satch style tapping...just a lot simpler and messier. rolleyes.gif More of an exercise than a song as such. I'm going to redo this eventually - I'm not happy with the intro phrase which is repeated later.

Ps. Feedback and constructive comments welcomed.

I like tidal pools, I get the idea. It would be cool to insert some strings or synthesizers. Enter the whole song in guitar pro, then convert to midi, and simple assign an instrument. Try some atmospheric sounds.
About your current recording: Try playing the same, but with the pick, add the same effects. If you need to, create two channels.

About tears in over oceans: You definitely need to finish this piece, yes, it has potential.
