Hi folks...
Just wondering if anyone has ever tried the Rocktron VooDu Valve On-Line Tube Guitar Preamp?
I heard great things about them and it's fairly priced..
Anyone knows about them?
How does it compare to the Prophecy?

David my man!!!

Once again my congrats on Gilmour lesson, top notch!! smile.gif

I had Voodoo few years ago.
Works quite nice, has only 2 channels/modes(low and high gain)
EQs are mostly the same as in Prophesy, pre, post and general
(without on face plate knobs for easy fast routing like on stage or som).
I believe there's no tuner on it but pedal on floor is better solution anyhow. wink.gif
EFXs are fine, nothing too amazing but do the job nicely.
Must say that my Voodoo wasn't ON LINE version so I had no access to
get presets from theirs web site.
But I believe we all like to make our own sounds tho. smile.gif

General rating: 7 from 10 I would say.

Thanks for asking mate, going quite nice!! smile.gif
Waiting for Triaxis and G-force to start putting final guitar takes on HD.

I forgot to say,Voodoo is really fine unit and well priced,
you can get nice tube sound from it. smile.gif

I said overall 7 cause I was thinking in this way:
Voodoo 7
Prophesy 8 (more preamp modes)
Triaxis(optional) 9 (no EFXs but tube at its best)
I believe we just can't have unit that matches overall 10.

If you're looking for unit straight for recording,
check out Gainiac 2 as well.
Awesome price,tube preamp,no efxs.

Cheers bro, looking forward to your album as well,
track you sent me sounds awesome!!! smile.gif
