Man Metallica has inspiried me so much! I love their music so much. I dont know if i could pick 1 favorite but maybe a few? One, For Whom the Bell Tolls, Fuel, Ride the Lightning. I'd say those are the tops in my list. Although I've only learned: Master of Puppets, For Whom the Bell Tolls, Fade to Black, One, Nothing Else Matters.

Which one, the two "clean" ones, or the tapping one?

The tapping one. The beat is just very hard for me. The clean ones are a breeze compared to it.

what i dont like about that solo is that when you change the note that you are tapping (i assume you start on the 19th fret, E string) you can barely hear/notice it, until you move to the B string. Does it happens to you?

I don't like St. Anger much, but I loved load and reload was okay as well. Definitely leagues better than St. Anger, yet people still hate them. You really should check out more metallica though! Ride is a good album though.

I hope that some day they do a re-master version of St Anger. I think that some of the songs are pretty interesting but the recording/production was awful (and intentionally so). That reheaersal video sounded a lot better.

Yea i was really thinking of buying JUstice For All because Ive herad its there most progressive stage in their carreer, and personally I love progressive music in general.

I don't know if I'd call it "progressive". Maybe some elements as there are a lot of odd time signatures and changes. Not quite like Dream Theater though.

I can hear my 19th fret(e) even when i'm tapping. you just have to tap very hard when u start getting up higher=) + the frets are smaller so persicion is very important. I dont know if its easy to play with my type of guitar but I imagine it is considering it is prety much made for metallica's style=P

also having the highest output pickups possible is good, otherwise you will have to tap harder.

Hey Slash -

You can get more of a tap sound if you slightly slide your pick as you tap. It takes a little practice but it can bring out the tap note. It's almost as if you're trying to scratch some dirt off your 19th fret with your pick really fast! If that makes sense! lol

Just my two cents!

I don't know why but every time that I pick up my guitar in Cirse's rehearsals I play the song One. It's unconscious. I wouldn't name one song as my favourite but I have my suspects...
