True Diverrsity / Non Diversity, Whats the diffrence

So, I ended up Lookin around at a website of a guitar shop,
And saw transmitting systems, separated in Non- and True- Diversity
Could anyone tell me the diffrence,

I think (I am not sure) True Diversity receivers will have better signals, or less breaks in the signal. My uncle has one, and I think True Diversity receivers solve the problem of reflecting signal waves by using multiple antenna's. But as far as I know, True Diversity vs. Non should not affect the actual audio performance of the system.

Someone should clarify this for me though, As my memory isn't real strong right now tongue.gif

True Diversity Wireless Technology implements 2 or several radio modules and antennas for better communication. The concept is simple - with 2 or several radio antennas, you are more likely to receive better signal from the source, so the device is constantly scanning the range with more resources and switching to the one that has best signal in real time.
The speed and the build quality of the device's components determines the data transmission quality as always. Downside is more modules and antennas installed - thus increasing the price. This is why it is often found in prosumer or semi-pro products with enabled wireless communication that require best wireless transfer possible.
