Hey guys !

I'm currently on holiday in London, and we're staying for 3 weeks, so I thought I could use this long temporal period to improve my guitar, and record some takes for the REC... Before leaving, I installed the POD GX and played it with sound, no problem. Now, I'm doing the same on a PC here in England, but there is only a red light on the POD, and when opening POD Farm, it says that the equipment wasn't identified...

Could anyone help ? I connected the USB cable to the PC, and a guitar cable to the guitar jack, but it just doesn't show up sad.gif

Does it show up as an installed audio device? Go to Control panel>Sound>audio(tab) and in the default device for playback drop down menu does the line 6 POD show up? If so make sure it is set as the default for everything except MIDI.

"Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato

No, it doesn't show up... When I connected it and wanted to install it, it said that the PC's system could possibly be damaged... Any ideas ? biggrin.gif

Well sounds like you need to unplug the device, remove the POD Farm software and reinstall the software after a reboot. Don't plug the device in until the installation asks you to.

Wait a minute, do you have a POD or a POD studio GX? I'm assuming you have the USB GX device.

Cool man! I don't use Sony Vega so can't help there but if your having a problem others will be around to answer for sure. Just make sure you tell it to use the ASIO driver. At least thats what I had to do with Reaper.

Cheers smile.gif

Hey Emir ! biggrin.gif

I found out you're currently staying in England, but then I saw the video of you playing the sick "Mojo oro" with Muris, and you spoke with him in an "unknown" language to me, and I found you both are from Bosnia-Herzegovina ! biggrin.gif

We actually stayed in London for 1.5 years because of my father's work beginning when I was around 9 years old. We still have some friends over here, and as they are on holiday, we are allowed to stay in their house (which is huge biggrin.gif) for three weeks (so my brother can write his extended essay for the IB diploma)... I guess that's why we're staying for such a long time, but it's a beautiful city. We're staying in Wimbledon, which is slightly on the edge of London (SW). smile.gif

Yesterday we saw Harr Potter VI at the Odeon cinema, it was stunning ! biggrin.gif

Thanks for your kindness. smile.gif
