He talked about doing a very intensive pre-production of the songs. I gave him 10 new songs and he will give me his opinion in a week. The guy is called Alejandro Vazquez and the last two albums that eh produced are:
I just wanted to share this experience and also to ask you if you have any producer that you like. I use to follow producers discographies. -------------------- My lessons

Time spent in pre prep is always good as it will minimise time wasted at recording/mixing.
Personally I like producers who can communicate a clear idea of what they want and who then allow us engineers to get on with our work. The producers who are annoying are the ones who can't communicate clearly and/or don't have at least a basic understanding of the different stages of production and so have unreasonable expectations and/or are inconsistent and/or try to tell us how to record/mix/master. -------------------- Get your music professionally mastered by anl AES registered Mastering Engineer.
