I have a question here that might appeal more to the staff & instructors here at GMC
than its members, but all responses are welcome. Okay. I am a paying member here at
GMC for 9 months, and during that time I memorized dozens of lessons, but the level
of difficulty on some of those lessons have prevented me from perfecting them all
as of yet. And now my paid subscription has expired. So even though I am still a
member I can't learn any new lessons until I become a paying member again. I think
that sounds fair enough. My intention is not to become a paying member again until
I perfect the lessons that I have already learned. Why pay for my own practice time?
Why move on before my learning is complete? And so, I already paid to learn those
lessons. Anyway, now more recently I am still submiting some of my takes to the REC
for judgment & feedback on my progress. I fail about as many takes as I pass so far
but am still working on it. In light of this, and with all things considered, herein
lies the question. Is it fair? Is it okay that I am doing this? I think so, otherwise
I would not. Tell me what you think.

Lesson: Atmospheric Open Chords
By : Emir Hot
Lesson URL: http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/atmospheric-open-chords/

I like these atmospheric chords - they sooth my intemperance when I play them. The video looks bad
because unfortunately my batteries were low when I started. Ever feel like you can disappear into
the music while you play it? I guess the level of difficulty depends on what the individual player
is used to playing and practicing. Happy grading!

Hi again. Just saw that Purple Hayes put up a nice new take on this lesson and then, upon further thought,
I remembered you guys failed me on my take. Well, who am I to argue with the experts. It's just hard for
me not to put a little of myself into these takes, like a speaker giving an agreeable speech as opposed to an
exact imitation of voice inflection and mannerisms. Of course then, one must also consider the technicalities.
And, since I have already been putting out some take 2s around here I figured why not. So, without further
ado, feeble attempt number two is at hand. Happy grading. laugh.gif

Hi guys. Even if I could play this solo as good as Emir - I can not, it wouldn't sound the same with my poor recording equipment.
But I really enjoy playing this tune and appreciate the talent and skill that went into creating it - in fact I'm overwhelmed with all
the great material all you guys put up on GMC and wish I could play it all just as good as you guys. Guess that would make me great.
Ha! Anyway, I did a number of takes using different tones and effects but think this one sounds the cleanest - even though some of
the more distorted takes sounded cooler in a weird way, I thought the cleaner tone might be preferable for you guys to judge my
playing as it is for now so here it is. Happy grading... smile.gif
