It's a really nice youtube channel to learn pedals, this video sort of reveals my approach to my pedals and only difference is I have a computer in the end instead of an amp...

In case you haven't done it recently, can you post a summary of what your current favorite pedals are, or the pedals you're currently using the most? Or even post a picture of your pedal board? Thanks.

Sure, I don't have much to be honest though cause of computer comfort smile.gif

boss mt-2; Bought it purely for shred, it has a dual gain stage (like 2 dist. pedals used together) and is enough to give enough heavy distortion by itself (so my clean sound can be very clean without needing to add gain to amp). The eq on it is very useful, its famous for trash metal sounds when using powerchords but can get fatter if needed.

Ibanez BB9; This is what I use to boost my mt-2, I prefer bright pickups and this cuts the high freq.s but adds more mid.s at the same time without decreasing the low freq.s. The sound on itself is very useless to me, but makes a distortion pedal sound very amp-like. It's actually designed for bright marshall's to have a thick and huge distortion sound.

Ibanez ts9; Bought this to get blues friendly solo sound. Set the software amp to almost drive (very clean when doing soft chord stuff, only audible overdrive when hitting the guitar hard) and when engage this the vintage drive tone is nice to my ears. It cuts the low freq.s (bad when shredding on neck pickup) and probably only adds half the gain of the BB9 can so I keep it for the cleaner/bluesy stuff.

I have my eyes on the Tech 21 Blonde and Earthquake devices speaker cranker, they're in my to-buy list smile.gif . The blonde is to replace plug-in amp (I like fender amp vibe) and the speaker cranker will work like the ts9 only sounds different.

Keep in mind my setup is computer oriented, like I have no plans to buy modulation stuff (reverb, chorus etc...) as they to me work better on computer.

I really liked the AMP TWEAKER TIGHT OVERDRIVE PRO that I reviewed recently. Still liking the FUHRMAN hand built stuff from Brazil as well smile.gif Not to mention the handy and very tiny HOTONE pedals I just got a bit back.
