Hi guys!
 I'm doing some covertracks for a compilation album in the works, wont go into the details here, but it's a spesific selection of songs we can do and i went with this one first. I'm finished with the full backingtrack (except the organ), but since i'm doing an instrumental version i'm having some doubts about the vocal-melodies. I've tried to make them sort of similar to the vocals, but... i'm a bit unsure if it works I've made a little sample of the melodies i've recorded so far. Oh, and just noticed that there might be some loud picking noises in the 2nd verse, anyone else noticing this or am i hearing things? Comments are more than welcome!

Wow great cover Trond. Here are my impressions regarding mellody work - the first verse sounds a bit empty and not convincing where second verse with the rhythm guitar and played in higher register sounds really awesome...Maybe you could do the first verse to have similar energy to it?

my most favorite spot of the melody is 1:56 to 1:59.
