When doing scales...

I have always, when reaching the top of the scale, played the last note twice before declining back down the scale rather than playing once.

Is this a habit to break or doesn't it matter?

Hay, local forum troll here.

As I see it's not really a bad habbit per se, but it sounds alot better to only play it once. Sounds more fluid and therefore more pleasing to the ear. Apart from that I don't know. Might be some deeper meaning I dont know.
