Amp Screeching Noise, can any1 tell me how i can fix this?

Aug 29 2009, 10:41 AM	Learning Tone Seeker Posts: 76 Joined: 7-February 09 From: Warrington, England	Very recently my Vox AC15CC1 has made a very odd screeching noise, the kind of noise you get when scraping a fork across a dinner plate, not only is this very unpleasant but no matter how much the amp is turned down it still screeches like it is on full volume, i know this is not feedback because it happens even when my guitar is not plugged in, if any of you have resolved a problem like this, an explanation and some advice would be appreciated You are at GuitarMasterClass.net Don't miss today's free lick. Try to disconnect all cables and then start the amp and see if it squeals. You can also do that test with guitar straight to input of the amp (one cable).
