Sometimes when im speedpicking I hold my pick with my pointer finger and my thumb yet I occasionaly llighty tough the pick with my middle finger . Is that bad ? It feels really good when I speedpick though.

Hey, I tried that and it is not to bad. Everyone does things differently. I think we all will do little things to create our style so it should not be bad. As it try doing that it seems to help my hand be more compact and helps it move faster, you may be on to something here.

The old saying "if it feel good do it" applies in most cases LOL

NO it's not!! Actually I think Steve Morse hold the pick with his index and middle finger. Try a whole bunch of way of holding a pick and see witch you like the best.

I've always held my pick like that and only recently stopped after joining this site.

right now im just experimenting with different speedpickin methods and things of that nature
