Hello GMCers,

I'm from Paris, France.
I've been playing guitar since 15 years or so... but occasionally, with long breaks.
I'm still feeling a beginner : I can hardly learn lessons past level 4 here. I've be using the GMC free content since around a year now rolleyes.gif

I bet it was about time becoming serious biggrin.gif (and stop wandering around tongue.gif )

I have an accoustic and a Stratocaster, but I'm playing the electric mostly.
I use an iGtr module instead of an amp and I use earphone; I have a Peevey amp that I do not use : thing is I love to play late at night and I live in an apartment dry.gif

That's a pretty long post for me, now I hurry to my first lesson as a member biggrin.gif

Pascal

Welcome! Ever been to Pere Lachaise to visit Jim Morrisons grave? I've been once, should have visited Chopin, Edith Piaf and Oscar Wilde's graves among others but we got lost on our way to Jim so we left it at that.
I'll give it another try some day.

Welcome to GMC, Pascal There has been a lot longer first-posts, so don't worry ^^

What kind of music do you listen to the most?

Also, I have to ask: Do you have a Fender or Squier or some other Stratocaster? tongue.gif

Cya around =)

The music I listen the most to is rock.
My ever number one is Pink Floyd.
After that it's more difficult to tell, I like Keziah Jones, Rodrigo y Gabriela, AC/DC, good old 80's rock like Police and a lot of others too.

Now there is some kind of music I would like to play more than listen to, like flamenco and metal. But why I can not listen to it like I do with Rock is a mystery to me mellow.gif

The Stratocaster is a fender, to be honest I didn't knew there was other brand doing it too rolleyes.gif
I bought it from a friend years ago, on the back there is a steel plaque stating '40 Years ... and still rocking'

The colour is 'sunburst' I believe, that some good old standard wink.gif

'hope you like the answer smile.gif

Awesome! Pink Floys are geniouses! Oldies but goodies ^^

Playing flamenco is fun biggrin.gif You should give a shot at this lesson ^^ (No idea why it says "Removed"...)

Squier is basicly just a cheap version owned by of Fender.. But Fender itself is quality to the core!
And the Sunburst is extremely beautiful! I hope it'll serve you well for many years biggrin.gif

Cya around the forum =)
