This collaboration has reached the max amount of participants. If you missed this one, there will be more!

After the success of the previous video collaboration, I decided to start this new one which should be suitable for all levels.
The goal is here to make a nice musical statement over the following backing track.
Here are the chords you'll be playing over:

A F#m D A

A C#m D E

A C#m C# F#m

D E A E

You can use an A Major scale or A Major pentatonic scale. Just be careful while playing over the C# chord which is not in the same key. Just use your ears to avoid the wrong notes! The only difficulty here is to make good use of the 30 seconds you have!

Tempo is 75 BPM...

Attached File  Soul_collab.mp3 ( 1.03MB ) Number of downloads: 327

Any more details on what kind of playing style you want over this? I'm a little intrigued..

No particular style, just whatever you find fits.
I'd like for participants to focus on creating a coherent solo with a good "lead in" and good "lead out".
Try not to just throw a bunch of licks in there, but tell a story! :-)
