Which festivals are you going to this year?

In a mad rush right now, trying to grab a Sonisphere UK ticket. The line-up is awesome: http://uk.sonispherefestivals.com/

Download, on the other hand, is looking a bit weak in comparison: http://www.downloadfestival.co.uk/2011/lineup/

Being im the lucky position of living in Germany i've got a coule of awesome festivals to choose from wink.gif
I'll definitely go to the Vainstream Rockfest, since it's practically next door wink.gif and most likely to the Area 4, since it's also really near to my place and I always wanted to see NoFX live!

The Rock am Ring line-up is kinda disappointing this year, with Kings of Leon, Coldplay and SOAD as headliners...come on, that is lame!
Hurricance might be an option, since Foo Fighters are gonna be the headliners.
The Wacken line-up is the best ever IMO, but none of my friends is a metalhead...sad.gif

So yeah, it's gonna be Vainstream and Area 4.

SJ: I'd book some more, doesn't sound like you have enough there!

Agreed with the Rock am Ring line-up, usually I'm so jealous and fancy a road-trip. NOFX were awesome live, def. go for it! Although, FF were pretty damn epic smile.gif

There's a few more 1-dayers to go to as well! And possibly a couple of Folk festivals too!

I'm lucky in that I get to work at most of the ones I attend so it doesn't cost a Kings ransom to go to them all!!

I will definitely go to Sonisphere Turkey. There is a rumour going on that maybe Iron Maiden would come. I hope its true smile.gif

You are a lucky dude smile.gif Not to mention WACKEN OPEN AIR. My buddy Flynn played there a couple of years back with Atheist and said it was one of the best shows he's ever been involved with. The crowd is just insane.

Yeah...but Wacken is not an option since I would have to go alone sad.gif
But a friend and I decided to go both to the Hurricane and the Area 4! So I'm gonna see the Foo Fighters and NoFX smile.gif
