High E String Buzz, Buzzing sound

Jul 26 2013, 08:30 PM	Instructor Posts: 5.871 Joined: 29-November 12 From: Poland	There are a few options 1. Guitar will go back to "no buzz" after it "wears" a bit with new strings 2. Nut slot is to deep...time to change the nut 3. Sometimes the bridge saddles, springs or the screws make that sound. Loosen the string. Pull the saddle towards the neck or just push with the screwdriver (push the measure adjustment screw). Make very tiny saddle height adjustment crew rotation down to make shure both srews sit well on the bridge plate. Then re-tension te string 4. Loosen the truss rod a bit (probably not more than 1/8 to 1/4 of full rotation 5. THE WORST - 1st fret is coming out of the fretboard because of a high humidity value....then You need a luthier... 6. You changed the strings gauge to a lighter - once again loosen the truss rod I bet on the bridge or on the natural "coming back" If You DIDN'T change strings one by one. I even get that "wearing" buzz a little when I change my strings one by one, it goes away in two to four days. Also, if it doesn't go through the amp, you don't have to worry about it. I would give it to a professional to check what's the issue to solve it. However I know that there are many guys here that like doing this things by themselves. Neck will probably go back to it's previous shape and the problem will be gone.
