> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Howdy mate!

I think your take is very good, you are playing clean and you have good timing. The parts on which you should focus a bit more, would be the bends, such as the one happening at 0:27 - it needs to be smoother. The bends are generally in pitch but they feel a bit rough somehow. Just a matter of detail, but we all know how important details are smile.gif

Keep rocking, my friend!

Cosmin

Hi mate! Great job with this take! I've already gave you the feedback for your previous thread at gab's army so I think that this lesson is perfect now. I reviewed what Cosmin said, and maybe there is a very small room to make those bends smoother, by the way it's ok to reach the pitch slowly, that's part of the style. I think that with more practice you will look more comfortable with the bends. It's a 9.5 for me! smile.gif

Very good take my firend! You kept the muddy tone that Gabe made for the lesson smile.gif I think You deserve high rating. There are only micro timming issues in the second half and the ending vibrato ...hmmm...You screwed tongue.gif But! - Seems like the level of lesson is pretty comfortable for You. Congrats! smile.gif
