OK guys here it is. I've uploaded backings for the participants so far. Every participant has their own backing, so be sure to download only your OWN backing for the song.

Important!

- The song is in Cmajor (Aminor) tonality.
- The backings have 4 click intro on the start. You don't need to play over it, it is just a marker for you when the part starts.
- Post the part with the backings and solo guitar separately.
- Some parts will be looped so be careful to end them in a decent way.
- Think about the parts you are playing and try to play something that will be good for that particular part of the song. These part are not too long - about 15 seconds each.
-And above all, do it in your style smile.gif

The backings are in the attachment section, each one has its part of the song name and the name of a member who is doing it.

Since no oen wanted to do the main riff slot, I'll do it myself, and upload here in the next 30 minutes or so, so the rest of the participants can do their work too. Thanks for patience. smile.gif

I can allready say that it sounds great with the song man smile.gif

AND there is a littel surprise - I'll add some back-carpeting (keys), and do a little mixing and producing, so the song can be a new GMC hit! smile.gif

hey! i got some posibly verse melody and lyrics.
i can't record right now, so i just want to show you the lyrics.
what you think?
this is meant to be just one of the verses.

"i might be soft on the outside
but inside, im hard as stone
was never one of the big guys
but i got rock to the bone(s)

my beasty eyes seek a pathway
ready to go i'm overload(ed)
strap my guitar and i head'way
now lets hit the road"

well the lyrics are suposed to mean: "whoever you are, you can ROCK! just follow your dreams"

EDIT: heres a guitarpro file, so you can get the idea smile.gif
just added it to the intro riff. since i don't think we have a verse? or is the main riff suposed to be the verse? Works fine over that too:)
EDIT no.2: got an arrangemend idea! maybe the "verse over intro" as i made it in GP5 would make a perfect cooled-down spot between the bridge and the last chorus?
EDIT no.3: the GP5 file now consist with both main riff and intro backing, and the rythm in the melody is now correct:)

sure! thought i already was listed up as vocals: )
Would be cool if someone, one or more could do backing vocals.
heard that Maria does a nice choir thing and i've heard kris do some nice screams.
anyway i definetively need someone who could harmonize in a higher pitch smile.gif

Hmm okay so since there's allready a vocal idea, I think it would be best for me to wait till vocals are done before I do my part, or is my part(main theme) seperate from the vocals?

A bit later then I expected (busy social life sometimes biggrin.gif), but here's my contribution.

I'm afraid it came out a bit different then I expected, so I felt the need to add a simple lead line (to emphasise the rhythm) over the back. Feel free to get rid of that, I just think it's a bit empty without it.

I'll probably come up with a few more options in a day or two, but since I was already later then I said I would, just had to post this first ^^

edit: oh yeah, it's in wav because I can't get that stupid mp3converter working on vista sad.gif

Hey man Iluha, main theme is sepparate from the vocals, so you can do it straight away if you want. The sooner the better!
