hi guys been reall busy lately, but still squeezing practice time in everyday, wanted to post this to the rec but thought id just upload the audio, and get advice, till i have time in a couple days

, gab is very creative and a awsome composer, with a style i really dig thats why im so stuck on his lessons, i learn them analyze them hoping just a little of his creativity rubs off on me

Hi friend! Great to see you working hard! I can notice that you have improved your playing on this lesson compared to the previous take. The main problem appeared on the downpicking palm muting and I can notice that you are getting closer to master it. The timing issue are still there and the way to fix the issue is with right hand training and focusing on trying to be more economic regarding the hand motion. The smaller the movement is, the more comfortable you feel with fast tempos.
And also, thanks for your words about my job and compositions. There are many creativity tricks that I apply to keep my creation flowing and that t can be applied to creating "in the style of lessons" but also to slowly develop your own style. Song analysis is the first thing that gives me tools and features that combined, mixed, modified, are the starting points for my lessons an compositions. Here you have homework that could be a great exercise for creativity. - Write down the analysis of two songs. Check structure, arrangements and theory (chord progressions and scales). - Take the most important features both songs and try to create a song applying them. For example, you can take the structure of one, the tonality of the other, mix arrangements of both, use the tempo of one and the drum loop of the other. Check the result. Isn't it something that you wouldn't have imagined just by yourself? The more you practice this, the more you make your mind combined things that have never combined before, the most you will train your creativity, and the more creative you'll become.
