The best advice i can think of is trying them both out on a familiar amp. +1 And familiar guitar I would add, everything else is more like fishing in mud. -------------------- Youtube

This new guitar is a beast, and these duncans have an awesome sound.. Imo you should use the bridge pickup for such riffs. Actually I think that referring to the neck pickup as rhythm pickup is quite confusing. At least I use them in exactly the opposite way, bridge -> riffs, neck -> leads.heres a clip from the 59 pickup Anyway I'm glad you like them. I have to say i never play my guitar with the emgs anymore... I love these duncans and my new guitar, im even considering selling my guitar with the emgs in it...
