A dimly lit guitar video is a BAD guitar video. It's that simple. It looks unprofessional, folks won't watch it, it's just awful 
Also quick tip GET THE BED and or LAUNDRY OUT OF YOUR SHOT!!! 
Back to lights. I recently bought a portable light with 2 batteries and a charger for $35. It's a great price and I had to share. I'm going to get another. Here is the link.

Don't fall victim to bad lighting. Get at least once decent lamp!!

I was thinking about it for some time now. I'll re-organize my room after graduation, so I'll add the lighting to the list

These are very handy lights They are affordable and work very well. I've got 3 of these types of lights from different folks. The really expensive ones are not any better than these are they cost me 10 times the price. Yes, $350. Ouch.
