I think every band wants to be without a record label these days to be able to do thinks like this. In the current virtual world any band can distribute themselves with little effort. Radiohead had the best idea to let people give what they want for the album. They actually made more money than the 3 albums previously even though a lot of people were getting it for free. The new Radiohead album is awesome and I think a lot of that is being free of a record label forcing them to create an album that sounds to their liking.

Highly recommended. But I'm a bit of a fanboy.

If you dig YZ and The Slip, check out With Teeth next probably. Broken is kind of the angry guitar album/EP which is where his Grammy came from). Pretty Hate Machine and The Downward Spiral are classic NIN but they're more about the "old" NIN than the new NIN.

I was kinda dissapointed with Year Zero and With Teeth.. they missed what i first came to love about NiN. Havent heard The Slip yet though.

The Downward Spiral is probably one of my favourite and most listened to cd's i have, a masterpiece from start to finish, and there's just something about the feel, agression, unpredictability and originality of it that i think the later albums lack.
