Item : Ibanez XPT700
Seller : Duncan Manser
Status : For Sale
Asking Price : £350. Shipping within the UK only (not sure how much it would be). Pick up would also be ok (Surrey).

Description:

1 year old Ibanez XPT700 in Red Chameleon. Comes with all the usual jazz such as locking nuts and adjustment keys, whammy bar and a fitted hard case.

# Neck type: 5 piece Wizard II Maple/Walnut Thru neck
# Body: Mahogany body
# Frets: Jumbo frets
# Bridge: Edge III
# Neck pickup: DiMarzio D Activator humbucking neck pickup
# Bridge pickup: DiMarzio D Activator humbucking bridge pickup

Condition:

Perfect. Hardly ever played and as far as I'm aware, not a scratch on it.

PS: This guitar is currently at my fathers house, whilst I am at university. If there is any interest in this item I will most probably be at my Dads weekend of the 4th and 5th of October and can take pictures then. Shipping costs can be discussed with me as I currently have no idea how much it would cost. Depending on the cost I may be willing to include it in the asking price.

Many thanks.

It's being sold because I never play it as it is at my Dad's house. I am also looking to buy a new computer and could really use the money.

@g-forcelover - I suppose I could get it to the US if it came to it.

May I add that I love this guitar and how it plays. But I also own a Ibanez PGM301 and a RG1527, both of which mean a lot to me (birthday presents and such) making it easier for me to part with this guitar.

I know and I apologise, but the guitar is at my Dads house and I wont be there until next weekend. People can still declare their interest though?

Got my stepmum to take some pictures so here we are. If anyone wants more pictures, then request them in this thread and I can take them when I'm at my Dads on Saturday/Sunday.

Looks bloody fantastic. £350 is great value for this guitar I think. I might consider it but I really shouldn't buy another guitar.

You should shave it all off and get a long beard. Then it would suit you again biggrin.gif. It's what I'm thinking about doing. I look a bit silly with long thinning hair. biggrin.gif

Probably the reason I have 6 guitars biggrin.gif I'd love to sell my Caparison and get £1000 for that and buy this for £350 and have the £650 to learn to drive.

Any chance of recording something with it to show what the sound is like with the guitar?

Just trying to figure out of it will add to my collection or whether it is too similar to my other guitars with DiMarzio pickups

Erm I don't really have any recording equipment. Which other guitars do you have?

They are in my signature.

Caparison TAT2
Parker Nitefly SA
Parker Nitefly M
Gibson SG
Parker P10E
Rubbish Spanish acoustic.

I'm worried it wont have a place for me to ever use it. It looks such a great guitar and a shame to let it go to somebody else.

Well it sounds lovely to me (but of course I'm going to say that). I can only suggest maybe looking at videos on youtube? One thing I noticed with the Xiphos is how full the notes sound higher up the fret. It really does make solos sound beautiful.
