Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

It's a very good take! It sounds very clean. There are some little timing details to fix and it seems that your fingers aren't 100% comfortable with the licks yet but with some more practice you'll do a perfect take. Well done!

Yes, I agree with Gab, it sounds very good and precise. The timing is the biggest issue, so try to really slow down and get the timing right. Make sure it's tight. Other than that it's quite good. I won't judge the vibrato here (but it needs some practice too), since it's legato lesson.

Hey this is really good ! I always like seeing people train their fingers to move over the fretbaord easily with those nice 3 note per string shapes biggrin.gif

Legato is one of those things (like sweep picking) that is very hard to play in time when doing it slow.. but the more accurate it is at slow speed the better it will be when you're flying along at Satriani speeds ! cool.gif

Great progress so far.. good hand positioning and shifting. Well done !

i like also the take, you need to work a BIT on your timing and a BIT on the strength of your fingers.
