Yea so I went to my friends house and took my Xbox 360, I just got Grand Theft Auto 4 so we played it a lot and God it is amazing! When I left, I went outside, put the Xbox, the game, and the controller on top of my toolbox on my truck, went back inside to get the rest of my things, came back out, put the things I had in the truck and LEFT THE XBOX 360 ON THE TOOLBOX WITHOUT REALIZING IT. So I drove about 15 minutes, and I couldn't recall putting my Xbox 360 back in the truck, so I turned the rear view mirror to see the top of the toolbox, and the game was just sitting there. It was then when I literally [pooed] a brick, slamed on the brakes, and flew all the way back searching all over the sides of roads for like an hour and a half. I ended up finding the controller and searched the area extensively for the Xbox, but failed to find it. It was on the edge of the toolbox, so it obviously just fell off somewhere in the middle of the road and someone picked it up (even though it was a very busy road). I was hoping someone would have just ran over it, that would have given me more satisfaction knowing that if I can't have it, NO ONE can have it. But now I have to live with the fact that thanks to my own stupidity I virtually unwillingly gave away my Xbox 360, it wasn't stolen. And BTW Grand Theft Auto 4 was inside the console.
I can't imagine what it was like for the person who picked it up, I mean how often do you see an Xbox 360 in the middle of the road?

Well...I can only say I feel very sory for you! This must s*** prety hard for you...
Wow, that really sucks man.
Feel sorry for you.
Bad luck. I feel very sorry for you.
ouch!! I dunno what else to say I guess you`ve already beaten yourself up about it that sucks mate
Wow that sucks
But, on the plus side I doubt your Xbox will work after falling off of a truck, so I doubt anyone will be able to play it
The 360 is a wimpy built machine I had one and broke it while It was sitting on the passenger side seat of my car it was only about 3 months old at that time, I musta hit a small bump while driving and it didnt work when I hooked it up the next time (oh yeah it was in the original box when I was driving)
Crap man! that sucks
Ohman.. your having some bad luck lately sorry to hear this!
But if it helps, then i too can guarantee the xbox wont be much use after a bump like this. I've had one or two xbox accidents myself, and they are really fragile.
Oh man that sucks
Wow man, that s**cks so bad, sorry to hear!!
Tell you what: Xbox are quite fragile so it was probably broken as soon as it touched the ground...
You are certainly going through rough times lately, if I recall it right you had a problem in your hands too, didn't you?, hope things go better really soon Shellshock!
I feel for you man, I really do
That's awful, sorry to hear it
Really sad, and bad luck man

Sorry to hear it man. But look on the brighter side, you'll have more time to practice
Very sorry to hear this But it happens...
I'd say this situation is far from ideal
Sorry to hear you lost it
Dont feel bad, i did the same thing with my whole CD collection... I was at a beach party in the early 90's and was doing things i shouldnt be doing before driving.. I had all my cds out playing them on the beach.. I put them on the roof of my car when i was getting ready to leave an forgot to put them in my car... it wasnt til i was on the highway that i realized that i had left them there, so i pulled over on the side of the road and they were gone...
