Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hey there!

I was hoping to catch you on something to fix but honestly besides the very first few notes and almost invisible timing slips at just few spots, I haven't found anything to complain - good tone, well intonated playing, even tone of picking...a lot of good things to mention. Maybe Gab will spot something as a na author of this lesson, but for me it's a professional studio quality recording and playing. Being in a real deal studio you would probably have to rerecord the beginning and fix those 2 (I guess) moments where the are just a little doubts about the timing. But that's almost perfect take! Congratulations

Hi Rated,

I've watched this one twice and I couldn't find any important issues to fix. Your playing is very consistent in the whole take. I only notice that the first part starts a bit shy, but the overall sounds professional as Darius noted it.

Your playing is flawless mate, congrats!

Hi man, Happy New Year - this is a really solid take and as the guys have said, the only thing that isn't 100% is those two opening notes.. but they are due to going in 'cold'. Until the groove has been established, it's quite common to be a little bit 'off' at the start.

I would have liked to have heard it without Gab's original guitar takes on the backing track because we could give a better critique of your playing and tone.. but what we can hear does sound very good so well done!
