Edit: Also, when you have completed it, to show your score on here, copy the HTML code from the box on the right of your mark and paste it onto your reply!
I got a 78, pretty good to me, im sure Andrew will ace this
I love the answer
"12 Octaves Above The Open String"
That made me laugh
EDIT
Crap, i forgot to post my score, damnit, now i have to take it again...
i got an 80
i tried to paste the code, but all that was pasted was code...
Hmm it seems the HTML code isn't working, maybe just post your scores then, and we'll trust you!
By the way, some excellent scores so far!
Got 67%!
Haha, I thought I'd get much worse
EDIT: removed the html
I got 63% but I rushed most of the answers. I did it again and got 83%
EDIT: HAHAHA!!! Do this one http://www.gotoquiz.com/how_will_i_die
EDIT: http://www.gotoquiz.com/what_be_your_nerd_type and http://www.gotoquiz.com/how_much_of_a_b_tch_are_you
"You are 83% theory genius!"
Hmm. That means I got 5 wrong
Woo! 40%!!!
37 % Looks like I've got a ways to go. I did suprise myself though!
Nice thread!
Steve
OK this sucks! My wife studied piano in school but has'nt been that much invoved with it in years. We have a piano and she still play's on occasion and scored a 37 % also.
Man, I'm here'in it rite now!
Andrew, you are goin to see alot more of me!
Lol I got 100%, that was pretty easy...The only one that confused me was the melodic minor ascending thing. I melodic minor was the same as natural minor ascending and with a b3 descending, but the only choices were b5, #6, #6 and #7, and #7. So I just guessed and went with the 3rd choice because #6=b7 and #7= Root, which the natural minor contains.
I got a 60% but I guessed on a couple of them.
77%! I actually did a lot better than I expected. The French Augmented 6th one, the 12 octaves above open string, and the "playing while standing on your head" all had me laughing... I was really lost on a few of them, though.
I got musician as well
That was a long, head scratching quiz David! Took me ages...
I had questions 10, 26 and 30 wrong ah well better luck next time , but i'm pleased with 90
Excellent score Deeproots!
I'm glad it made you think a bit, I spent about two hours thinking of suitable questions!
I got 57% so shouldn't struggle too hard on Grade 1 Theory in Feb
Just for kicks i tried 2 of the other quizzes Tommy posted
Oof, fudged an easy one. (G minor ) Genuinely got the blues relationship to ragtime wrong (I put jazz)
Nice quiz David
Hmm, the image doesn't appear to be coming up.. it was 93%!
I got 73%...which is pretty good, I guess
I got 73% which I'm quite pleased with. The only theory of music I've picked up is from reading books and mags. I was terrible at music at school!
70%! that was a suprise, I`m quite chuffed with that Most of my theory was at school some 20 odd years ago, I studied O level music but only took it as a CSE exam in the end, coz at O level there was too much theory and not enough practical for me.
How did you get the code to work?
Anyway, i got "Musician" for the other quiz
Nice Quiz David,thanks for sharing
i couldnt paste my results but i got like 45%, it said i had i basic understanding of theory with much to learn, and that's completely true.
Nice quiz!
I only got 40% though!
Shocking...
Yes!! I got a 43%
I know, it's horrible, but I really thought that I'd do even worse.
LOL BUMP!!!
I got 93%
it was that darn, French Augmented chord, and the Sonata question that got me
i had 70% although i was just guessing on some questions so i guess i should go on learning some theory..
Got myself 77%, which I am certainly pleased with
43%
it's okay actually..
80%
nice quiz
O got 73 This means I don't know theory :usnure:
I got a 57%. Higher than I expected. I guess some things are soaking in afterall.
73% - theory genius
