Hey GMC,

This is a lick and a progression I created yesterday. I would really like some advice on how to build around this. I know this is a VERY general question but any tips would be really appreciated.

i think you did fairly well, i like it maybe add a backing track to it?

take the scales you used to build that and use cords that work with the scale.
