Hi mate, really struggled with this one, just couldnt come up with anything that I liked, even did this with the custom in the vein hope that some of your finger residue was still on the fretboard and work its magic into my fingers laugh.gif

a few timing issues and couple of sloppy bits, but gave it my best shot, will definatly work on stuff like this in the future, I really found it hard!

Attached File  Muris_Lydian_Smells_with_BT.mp3 ( 1002.99K ) Number of downloads: 234

Attached File  Muris_Lydian_Smells_no_BT_no_fx.mp3 ( 998.2K ) Number of downloads: 198

Soz forgot to switch to a mono track, but have recorded dry with distortion only so you can add what delay etc you would like smile.gif

Cheers for the add smile.gif

Here's my take muris.
It sounds ...well, like a student made it. laugh.gif

Attached File  20090211_MurisLydian_wBacking.mp3 ( 1.89MB ) Number of downloads: 218

Attached File  20090211_MurisLydian_noBacking.mp3 ( 1.89MB ) Number of downloads: 163

The guitar only track was printed with delay and reverb. Let me know if you want a dry version. I can upload one if that's better.

Looking forward to your feedback.
Thanks,
Jim.

"Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato

Saw that the deadline was nearing so i threw something together here- must admit that my modal soloing needs alot of work and it took this collab to show me that as i was almost clueless as to what to do! I ended up trying to make some small phrases and for the faster parts just recycled some old minor or pentatonic stuff. Theres timing issues all over the place but im a little short on time to go back and rerecord so- c'est la vie.

Well guys, I'm very sad to see that my first will be started with a weak take because of two reasons:

1. My lamme technique
2. My non-existant experience with modes workout.

Bendings could use some work, tone didn't have time to program so just used x3 live default. Anyways, I said I would be in, so I'm gonna keep up my word

[attachment=13646:lamme.mp3]

[attachment=13647:lammenobt.mp3]

Also for some reason, when I rendered the track, the backing always seems to be out of sync with the rendering, so feel free to not combine mine with the rest of the group if you feel it's to bad

Im not too pleased with this take... For some reason i thought that davids lick construction collab had a deadline before this one... theres nothing like working on ideas in a time crunch, i had a couple of licks that i made up that i couldnt get to sound fast and clean enough that i left out
anyway here it is...
