So I was jammin learning "For the love of god" today. And Notice I get really discouraged when I learn from a tab, So I stared to tab it out by ear, and I felt I was doing alot better, learning it faster, and I remembered the parts easier, and just feeling more accomplished as a whole.

That lead me to thinking, do you think we could have a closable description on the lessons? Just to make it a little bit less tempting to go scroll down and check the tab.

Just an Idea, and for me it would help me a bit, with my ear, even though there is a video right in front of me. I am guessing some other people would benefit from a "minimizable" description menu to hide the. Just tell me what you think about it.

I like this idea, when learning a song i do it by ear now, in hopes of training myself better. A closeable description would be neat, i would like to attempt some lessons by ear smile.gif

I like this idea!

It's very important to use your ears, and not just look at the tabs all the time.

Well in my screen resolution (1024x768) , when I open the lesson I just see the lesson video window not the description down wink.gif Just urge yourself not to use the scroll wink.gif If you had ability to minimaze the window I guess you'll have the same urge like with scroll but now for clicking to maximize wink.gif

Sorry, I'm really bad at putting and ideas down in writing.

Look at it like a minus and plus bar, when you hit minus, the descrption dissipears, and when you hit plus, it pops back up again.

Well, i myself use a higher resolution that 1024x768, so I see it perfectly and I dont think, that it would tempt you too much to maximize it - you know, I play from bed and look at the screen, so I would have to stand up, get the guitar out of my neck and then maximize it - and I am too lazy to do it:-P

Also, it should not be too hard to implement.
